This morning ended day 9 of the experiment. I can honestly say that while I’m not necessarily tired all the time, I do want to sleep all the time. I really miss the warm, cozy feeling of curling up under a blanket and drifting of to dream land. That being said, my productivity has probably doubled due to biphasic sleep.
Yesterday evening I worked out pretty hard. To make up for the extra rest I would need I went to sleep 1.5 hours earlier, at 2:30 am. This allowed me to sleep 4.5 hours overnight instead of the usual 3. It was much needed, and though I still woke up a bit sore, I’m glad I adjusted. I know that had I not taken the extra sleep I would have woken up feeling pitiful.

Mental State: sleepy (just woke up, no more caffeine)
Physical State: up and running
Feelings about Biphasic: still enjoying it
Productivity: very high
Diet: getting pretty good
